Coaching and mentoring are key processes to help you to achieve your full potential including the ability to set goals, make better decisions, and build solid relationships at work. This session explores these two areas and provides insight on developing the skills to effective
coaching and mentoring. What You Will Learn:
During the session, we will apply tools and techniques that include experiential exercises, personalized style assessments and networking. Speaker: Dr. Tina Dacin Dr. Dacin is the E. Marie Shantz Professor of Strategy and Organizational Behaviour in the Queen's School of Business. She is the Director of the Queen’s School of Business Centre for Responsible Leadership and Area Coordinator of the Organizational Behavior group at the school. She is the recent past Chair of the Corporate Strategy and Governance group of the Strategic Management Society, as well as recent past Chair of the Organization and Management Theory Division of the Academy of Management. Professor Dacin's research interests include cultural heritage and traditions, institutional change, social entrepreneurship, and strategic collaboration with an emphasis on partner selection in alliances. Her work has been published in leading management journals and she also serves in editorial roles with several of these journals. Dr. Dacin teaches courses in leadership, change, and strategy. She is an experienced executive educator teaching in programs offered by the Queen's School of Business as well as executive programs such as the joint Kellogg-ISB program. Dr. Dacin advises and speaks to major corporations from diverse sectors as well as a number of public sector and non-profit organizations. Most recently, Dr. Dacin was inducted as a Fellow into Sidney Sussex College at the University of Cambridge, UK and she is also the recipient of numerous awards. Professor Dacin received her doctorate from the University of Toronto and prior to joining Queen's University, she spent nine years at Texas A & M University. She has most recently been a Visiting Professor for several years at the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, and the Indian School of Business in Hyderabad, India. |

Cancellation Policy
Notice of cancellation must be submitted in writing and received ten business days prior to the event date. You will be eligible for a prompt refund less a 25% administrative fee. If you register for the program and do not attend, you are liable for the full registration fee unless you cancel according to the terms stated above. If you are unable to attend, there are no substitutions permitted. There will be NO REFUNDS if you do not show up to the event.
