Agricultural Adaptation Council
The Agricultural Adaptation Council is a non-profit coalition of over 50 Ontario agricultural, agri-food and rural organizations. It was established in 1995 to administer Ontario's share of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada's Canadian Adaptation and Rural Development (CARD) fund.
The AAC's mission is to be a catalyst for adaptation and innovation. The Council delivers funding that assists Ontario's agri-food sector and rural communities remain competitive, grow and maintain their economic strength. The priority areas for projects and programs are: food safety confidence and quality; environmental sustainability; marketing and competitiveness; human resources; and rural development, innovation and adaptation.
